But when I look to some other photogrpahers I start to have some doubt, as their pictures are just extraordinary. Sharpness is one big element that gives even more power to the soul and spirit of their pictures. Without the sharpness it would be less impactful or maybe not impactful at all. It is an entire aspect of their style.
It is a matter of taste as well for the viewer also, one will adore the sharpness of a photography while another one will prefer the blurry ones. There is no correct answer. As it is just feeling, point of views.
To conclude, as I said, I don’t think there is an answer to the question as sharpness seems to be one element of the style of each photographers. The question is not if sharpness is overrated but is sharpness sould be a part of my style ? it is an aesthetic choice hence a full part of your body of work. And to go further the question is what make a photography good or not?
